Not a newsletter, but a summary this week.

Sorry about that, y’all. It was a busy weekend and shaping up to be a really busy week, so there’s no newsletter this week. As per usual when I do this, I’ll have the schedule, a general list of the things that are coming up this week, and the typical general “In Case You Missed It” list of things from last week. So, for now, let’s look at the schedule.

General List

After the Parade was finished last week and will be able to be seen below. Limited edition prints will be available in the shop soon!

We’re coming up to the end of Pride, and the last video of After the Parade will be more of a vlog than a speedpaint. I want to talk about some of the processes I used in this piece, and how I broke out of my comfort zone with it. I also want to talk about some of the politics that are up against the LGBTQIA+ community, some of my thoughts on Pride in our current climate, and also some of my fears and goals and where my mind is as a transgender, pansexual human. So if you haven’t watched the last few, it’s less important than this last one.

I’ve been working hard on improving my art throughout this year and I can see a lot of growth just from the last 6 months. I have my mentorship starting in August, and after I finish that, It’ll be close to the end of the year. My goal is to switch gears for 2024, and go back to what I started with this whole journey — tutorials, art tips, talking about art theories, and teaching people where to start. I also want to focus on my own projects and also developing my own stories. I’m still sticking to the light tutorials and speeedpaints for now, and I hope y’all are enjoying that! I also hope you’re excited for the stuff that’s coming.
